2013 REGISTRATION IS OPEN


Registration for our 2013 Indoor Tri is now open. Visit the state page for your local event to register. You will be walked through the registration process and will receive a confirmation email upon successful completion.

Life Time members will be asked to provide your member number. You will also be asked what time you prefer to start and who, if anyone, you would like to have in your wave.

Waves of 10 participants will start every 20 minutes beginning at 7 a.m. (for most locations).  

Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Registration will close at noon the day before the event.

NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!

Please note, non-members will need to register in person at their local club. Email the race director at your location if you have any questions.

HOW IT WORKS


You will be asked for your preferred start time during the registration process. Waves of 10 participants start every 20 minutes beginning at 7 a.m. Once the clock starts for your wave, you will follow the schedule below with running time:

10 min swim
10 min transition
30 min spin bike
5 min transition
20 min treadmill

SWIM DETAILS

 

  • Two athletes per lane. Stay on your side, no circle swimming.
  • All athletes start in the water at the same end of the pool.
  • You may rest by holding onto the wall, the lane line or standing on the bottom.
  • All strokes are allowed.
  • Credit will be given for 1/2 lengths.
  • A volunteer will be at the head of each lane to count lengths for all swimmers.

BIKE DETAILS

 

  • Spin bikes in the spin studio will be used.
  • All bikes will have pedals with clips on one side and cages on the other.
  • You may set your own tension on the bike.
  • Headphones are allowed. Music also will be playing in the studio during the ride. 
  • Make sure your distance is recorded by volunteers before you head to the run.

RUN DETAILS

 

  • Similar brand treadmills will be used by all participants.
  • Push the "Quick Start" button when told to begin.
  • Set the speed at a comfortable pace for you.
  • Speed may be adjusted during the 20 minutes.
  • Incline may remain at 0% or be adjusted to a comfortable setting.
  • Headphones are allowed.
  • Must remain on the belt for the entire 20 minutes.
  • Participants may not use hand rails to support themselves during the run.
  • Push "Stop" at the end of 20 minutes and make sure your distance is recorded before you leave the treadmill.
